A SPECIAL MESSAGE TO BANDS

The Love Apple thanks all the bands who have offered to play in The Big Gig. With only four days in this, the biggest event on Bradford’s 2006 music calendar, it has not been possible to feature every band that approached us.

We have to thank Bradford Council for funding the open-air stage and related expenses and the Arts Council England for its help. The Big Gig is about giving music to the public free of charge, so we are especially grateful to artists who have waived their normal fees to make this wonderful thing possible.

Cheers to the nice people in Bradford Council's Arts, Heritage and Leisure!
